Got Punctum? Podcast | A Timeline

We were in the planning stages for our inaugural in-person photobook book group in March 2020, when we suddenly needed to modify it as an online Zoom meeting, as a result of Boston’s shelter-in-place response to COVID-19. We never would have guessed then the longevity of our undertaking. All the conversations to come, all the photobooks that were added to Syb’s library!

On Thursday, October 27, 2022 we will host the 50th episode, an unscripted conversation with Rania Matar about her latest monograph, SHE, with a book giveaway and a discounted book via Radius Books. Not only is the 50th episode cause for celebration, it’s the quintessential time for us to tell the story of the evolution of the Got Punctum? podcast.

We thought about the myriad ways that a story could be told, and for us a timeline was the perfect solution. What you’ll see in the linked timeline is how an inspired idea evolved over time and continues to grow month by month, year by year.

We invite you to take a look at our history! Whether you attended one group session, or all 50 of them (!), we hope you know how much we have appreciated your ongoing support! Our sincere thanks to everyone, everywhere who has helped make the Got Punctum? Podcast a reality.

Special thanks to Rania Matar nd Radius Books, and The Digital Training Program at UC Berkeley and Northwestern University Knight Lab for sharing the open source TimelineJS resource! @raniamatar, @radius.books @AMI_Berkeley, @knightlab
